Sunday Child Care
At Church of the Atonement, children are a priority. We offer quality volunteer-based childcare for our youngest churchgoers. Our childcare workers have undergone special training and have all had background checks prior to joining Atonement’s childcare team.
The flexibility that Atonement offers for families during the weekly worship service allows parents to choose what serves their family best. If you have any questions about Sunday Childcare at Atonement, please feel free to reach out to our Director of Children & Family Ministries, Dawn Molloy, at [email protected].

At what age range is child care available?
Infants and toddlers (0-24 months) are cared for in Rooms 208 and 209. Our preschoolers (ages 2-4) play in Room 210 during the worship service and are also cared for by loving childcare volunteers.
Can I bring my children into the main service?
Though you are welcome to bring your children into the service with you, nursery care is available for infants to four year olds during the worship service. Each Sunday, prior to worship, you are welcome to drop off your children with our caring and loving nursery workers who will entertain, comfort, and care for your children. This gives you the opportunity to focus during the service and not worry about your children, knowing that they are in confident and capable hands.
Is there an alternate room where I can sit with my children if I don't want to be in the sanctuary?
If you would like to have your children with you, but prefer to be in an alternate room during the service, you are welcome to sit in the chapel area where the service is projected live. Some parents choose to keep their young children with them during the music portion of the service and then sign them in for nursery care during the latter part of the service.
Is there a nursing/changing room?
Nursing moms are welcome to enjoy quiet privacy in our infant nursery room where rocking chairs are available. A changing table, diaper pail, and cribs are also available in the nursery.
