English for Life is a ministry of Church of the Atonement that seeks to serve our neighbors and community by offering English language lessons in a safe, supportive environment.
Registration for our Fall 2025 classes has completed and classes are full.
Your next opportunity to join classes will be in January 2026. Classes will start January 5, 2026. You can pre-register online to receive more information and to schedule a placement interview. We will match your English skill level to the appropriate class. Classes are taught by friendly, trained teachers at Church of the Atonement (10613 Georgia Ave in Wheaton) and take place twice a week, on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7:00 pm to 8:45 pm. There is a $30 registration fee that covers the cost of materials.
