Amy Hackman Care Coordinator
Hello, my name is Amy Hackman and I am Atonement’s Care Coordinator. Based on the needs of an individual person or a specific family, I take the time to connect them with helpful ministries and services that are offered here at Atonement. I am a licensed Graduate Social Worker. Before serving as the Care Coordinator at Atonement, I worked for Montgomery County helping to prevent homelessness, managing an adult daycare, and working with emotionally disturbed adolescents.
I first came to Church of the Atonement fifteen years ago. The very first time I attended I fell in love with the music! This Fall I am teaching my 7th year of Sunday School in the 4’s and Kindergarten class. I love watching the little ones’ eyes light up when they learn about Christ’s love for them. I’m also a teen leader for Community Bible Study (CBS) and the PTA Volunteer Coordinator at my youngest children’s elementary school. My husband and I have 4 wonderful children (3 daughters and a son). In my spare time, I like to knit, crochet, and make jewelry. If you see me at church, be sure to say hello!
