Benediction
* Please note (to those worshipping in person): there are candles at the end of your pews in the sanctuary. In the chapel and Rankin Hall candles are on the tables. Please “light” your candle during the lighting of the Christ Candle. You do this by twisting the bottom area. After the singing and benediction, place your candle in the collection tub before you head home. Merry Christmas!

Song Lyrics

Silent Night
Silent night, holy night, All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and child, Holy infant, so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace, sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night, holy night, Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from heaven afar, Heavenly hosts sing alleluia
Christ the Savior is born, Christ the Savior is born!

Silent night, holy night, Son of God love’s pure light
Radiant beams from Thy holy face, With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus, Lord at Thy birth, Jesus, Lord at Thy birth.
Joy to the World
Joy to the world! the Lord is come;
Let earth receive her King;
Let ev'ry heart prepare Him room,
And heav’n and nature sing…And heav'n and nature sing….

Joy to the earth! the Savior reigns;
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains
Repeat the sounding joy….

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found….

He rules the world with truth and grace
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love…
And wonders, wonders of His love.
