Rev. Logan Spoon

Rev. Logan Spoon Associate Pastor of NextGen Ministry

Logan grew up in South Carolina going to church, but not really understanding what it meant to be a Christian. That all changed at Erskine College where he encountered the gospel--not just information, but seeing it lived out in the marriages and families of key people God brought into Logan's life.

He met his future wife, Joy, at Erskine, and they married in 2004. After working together as house parents in group foster care (and growing the family to four with the births of Nathan and Camden), the Spoons left for St. Louis, Missouri, for Logan to attend Covenant Theological Seminary. While there, a third son, Ian, was born. After graduation, he was called to a church in New Jersey, and they were again blessed with another little one, Ameryn.

Logan has a growing passion for discipleship and seeing the gospel flourish in the life of the family and church. When not hanging out with his family, Logan enjoys playing and learning fingerstyle guitar, writing, and a good game of ultimate frisbee.
