Rick Plasterer Librarian
For more than twenty years, I have attended Church of the Atonement, and have been a member since 1998. I have served as the Church Librarian since 2001. I have also periodically been a member of the adult choir, and served as a Deacon as well as on the Session. I sought the Lord at an early age and was a member of other churches, but it was at Church of the Atonement that I made the decision that I wanted to be a disciple of Christ. I am concerned about having a thriving Christian community in a post-Christian state and society, and about defending Christian faith and life in our world today. This has been the focus of my development of the library, and my concern in the wider world, where I work as a part-time staff writer at a local policy institute concerned with domestic religious liberty. My desire for myself and the church is that we be faithful for the duration of life or until Christ’s return.
