Who We Are:
Compass is a young adult (20’s & 30’s) community at Church of Atonement. We come from many different backgrounds and walks of life, but we share our love of our Savior and a commitment to serve Him. All of us are in varied places on our spiritual walks, but we want Compass to be a place where all of our members find direction and purpose.
Our Mission:
We want to grow in intentional, personal relationships with Christ, each other, and the community.
Our Goals:
We seek to glorify God in all aspects of our lives. We live this out in these key areas:
Summary:
We are a group who wants to serve and glorify the Lord. We don’t have all the answers, but we are committed to the One who does. We want to see people growing in maturity of faith and glorifying God in all they do. Maybe this sounds like something you’d like to learn more about. Our Mission:
We want to grow in intentional, personal relationships with Christ, each other, and the community.
Our Goals:
We seek to glorify God in all aspects of our lives. We live this out in these key areas:
- Bible Study: We meet together weekly (Tuesday nights from 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm) to study the Word and discuss its application to our lives. We also use this time as an opportunity to share our lives and pray for each other. We are currently studying the book of Acts. Our style is "conversational" and our gatherings are casual, so feel free to drop in even for just a few minutes to say hello.
- Service: As a group we participate in service projects in the community. There are many opportunities for Compass to serve in the church and local community.
- Community: We enjoy spending time together and seek to build solid, Godly friendships with one another. Every first Saturday we hold a different social event (game night, movie night, city outing, etc) and every third Sunday we all get together for a fellowship lunch.
